Travis Boeker is an investor and commercial executive that has led companies and invested through all parts of the business cycle and capital stack.
Most recently he was the portfolio manager of a distressed bank loan portfolio on behalf of OakTree Capital Management’s Opportunities Fund and serves on the board of Liberty Resources II. Prior to that, he managed all commercial aspects of a portfolio company of OakTree’s Infrastructure Fund and was responsible for origination and greenfield development of energy infrastructure projects for Apollo Global Management’s ANR Fund. He began his career as an engineer for Energy Transfer and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
Andrew has over 18 years of investment experience in oil & gas investments. Andrew has managed multiple private investment platforms on behalf of both institutional and private investors. He has bid on >$250mm of Gulf of Mexico assets and closed on three assets totaling ~$70mm.
Andrew established his investment experience with roles at Intrepid Financial Partners, OMERS Strategic Investments and Guggenheim Partners. Andrew earned a BBA in Finance from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business, University of Texas at Austin.
